I made this small boiler room Zbrush, xNormal, Maya, Photoshop, and finished it off in UDK. It is based on a picture of a real room. For this model, I “cleaned up” the boilers compared to the reference image and I adjusted a few colors like the ceiling beams. Modeling the boiler was interesting because it has so many different fitting on it. For some reason, I really liked how I modeled the foam around the hose coming off the side of each boiler.
